The game’s flaws are frustrating, and so is Capcom’s favoritism. But what else did anyone expect? MH is their main line. No one here thinks DD would replace MH, right? We all just want the series to continue, and given a competent director (like the director of Dark Arisen).
For that to happen, DD2 needs to be recognized as a flawed potential, not some monstrosity that everyone loves to hate.
no hate towards DD2 at all. my hate is totally directed at CRAP-COM.
even after watching the combat in MHW, I was like "hmm not even close to how fun and good the combat is in DD2".
however, I really felt CAPCOM doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about DD2 because every single patch was a complete and utter joke. When people begged for hard mode, they gave them easy mode and buffed skills and vocations. I mean, these people are more disconnected from reality then Ubiflop.
Someone said "DD2 is the most fun RPG up until level 40. past that, you become so powerful you just steam roll everything and once you unlock the wayfarer, you are practically immortal".
I really don't want DD2 to fail, and I absolutely recognize it as a flawed potential, but what good does it do when CAPCOM doesn't. I wish one day they will wake up and realize how amazing DD2 is and that there is nothing like it in the market.
