Oh this is war!
4070 super
32gb ddr5 6000mhz
MSI b650 gaming plus wifi
Checked file integrity, reinstalled (downloaded in 1 session without disconnection), started as administrator, disabled every overlay (discord, geforce experience, hwmonitor, steam overlay), let it run for about 20 min but as always i have just the .exe on the win task manager sitting at 0% cpu usage, no window whatsoever. Latest gpu driver and mobo driver.
Any idea is welcome.
UPDATE :
tried this : (took from a reddit topic)
So basically, go to C: Program Files (x86) |Steam\steamapps|common\Dragons Dogma 2 and just delete CrashReport.exe.
Then just try to launch the game. It did not go full screen and gave a loading bar that says compiling shaders. Wait for that to finish which took around 10 minutes or more.
At the end of the "compiling shaders" it autoclosed, re opened and reloaded shaders (in much less time) and now it started but even in the intro (where "start - options" are) it didn't load terrain texture and people and structure are just floating mid air.
Awesome, at least now it started.
In your case I would recommend getting a refund if you can. No game is worth such trouble.
To the next issue i guess XD
Wow, that worked for me. The game launched now
