with that toxic cesspool of naggers, like here on steam forum, unmoderated? No, I don't think so. Why should they invest further?

I saw you getting banned 2 or 3 times on this very forum. Are you really the one to speak about "unmoderated" bro?

Yes, exactly. I REacted to the cesspool and got banned, instead that the 'moderators' silence the cesspool (also in reviews, and not only this game). So yes, this is NOT MODERATED, this is just adding to the toxicity out of mental sloth. The usual today, and here you can wonderfully see to where it leads.

Steam Moderation actually does the worst THINKABLE Job in this regard.

Hope you are right, but why they not just tell people, 'yes, something big is coming'? We could all indulge in speculations then... ah well...

I doubt it... Capcom seem to have a way of dealing with these "re-make" style games, and that is as a one-off ventures. Granted, RE4 belatedly got its "Separate Ways" DLC... But, that was a kind of replacement for the "Assignment Ada", which they inexplicably omitted form the main game.

So, I'd not hold my breath for DLC for this game; especially given the player drop-off (in Steam, at least), and with MH Wilds only a three months off, they won't want to tread on that game. Also, unless they add co-op for any "Bitterblack Lake" style dungeon DLC, it probably won't be seen as worth the effort / profitable enough to bother with.

I'd like some DLC... I just don't see it happening, with the new way in which Capcom conduct business.

I think that has about as much to do with it as the result of the 2024 U. S. election has to do with "Hitler". It's all about the bottom line, and to think that the tiny portion of the total consumer base who crap-post here on Steam, somehow dictate the business direction of multi-billion-dollar companies, is verging on delusion.

If it has co-op, it'll be worth it. If not, and the game isn't overhauled in its stead, it'll be a waste.

Delusional it is to believe, that the hatetrain is only on steam. Everywhere you look you se the same nagging cesspool of subjects.

And no, no one wants co-op.

but... but... no one wanted to know!?

I'm sure it will have one, which is why they had those surveys to know what people were interested to see in a DLC. Besides, making a DLC is cheaper, faster and will make them plenty of money and it's easier than making a whole new game, especially if it's a good DLC that makes up for the lackluster base game.

I feel like the game director Hideaki Itsuno's departure from Capcom at the end of August makes it less likely, adding to the fact that at one point they surveyed people asking if they were interested in DLC, suggesting they weren't sure if they would do it.
