Just curious what classes everyone likes the best.

Warrior for me. Big sword, big whack, all's good.

Trickster, crazy CC and buffs for allies. Thief, one of the nuttiest maister skills that makes you feel badass. Sorcerer, similar to thief with making you feel cool with it's maister skills. Those are my top 3 at least.
For player:
Thief. Nimble, zippy. Can trip pretty much everyone with the rope. Feels nice when climbing and overall traversal.

For player pawn:
Sorcerer. Just absolutely devastating damage and some really pretty slutmog.

you will see it doesn't even matter. You will always enjoy the one you currently play the most, hesitate to change, then you DO change and have the same but different fun again. That's how good this game is. If you have decent hardware, that is...

Top 3 Vocation (IMO)

1. Fighter, in a world full of monsters, dragons and magic but only fighting using ordinary shields and swords.

2. Archer, Fast deadly attacks are not overpowered like magic archers but not weak either.

3. Warrior is also good but his attacks are slow and rely on hp and parry

Using an underrated and not overpowered vocation, in my opinion, can directly feel the tension and excitement when fighting the enemy.

As you suggest, fun's pretty subjective. And this is one of those games where you should level - or at least try - all the classes if only for augs. Given it's quite long, even if you have a favorite, you'll want to mix it up as you go through and then prob switch to something else entirely for NG+, if only to avoid the obviously Op stuff. But the game does an excellent job of catering to all sorts of preferences.

If you like fast, flashy melee combat, thief. if you like slow, big hit melee with silly knockback, warrior. If you like something in the middle (which is actually done really well), fighter. If you want to roleplay a jedi, and have force powers, mystic spearman. If you're a range type and want to be legolas, archer. If you want to stand back a bit and just nuke ♥♥♥♥ from range, magick archer. If you want to stand back and nuke like, everything, it's dog and it's chew toy, and leave the world a smoking ruin sorceror. Much slower paced though. If you want to support, mage or trickster...

Personally, prob like most people, I like warfarer. Can wear what you want, mix and match weapons / skills and carry a staff for spot heals / levitate. I used thief skills most of the way through game 1 - easily the most powerful class - but it gets a bit too easy to just pop formless feint and stand under a boss spamming helmsplitter. My absolute favorite moveset in the game is fighter - burst strike, shield bash and tusk toss is just the perfect melee experience for me, and climbing up mobs to gouge their weakspots with gutting skewer it great fun. It's not the most OP class, but incredibly satisfying. Add a bow so I have basic range attacks and maybe a greataxe with heavensward sunder for dragon fights, it's perfect.

edit - I would really like to have implicate on a SnB too though. Got to be one of the most fun skills in the game. Wd pay good money to be able to implicate a mob, stab with my sword then punt them with my shield bash. but I'm already carrying enough weapons...

Support Mage, and let my pawns handle the fight. Golems are a little tricky but I will never say no to a good fists fight! I hope they add a monk class, I would have so much fun with it!

I have been playing the fighter but man it's difficult to manage stamina. I'm always running out and then left where I can't move and I'm just getting stomped at that point.

yeah i'm also a fighter but i don't have much problem with stamina sometimes you have to parry with shield, reduce running and ring of stamina can help

Degenerate answer on that second part.
