Wow, a whole 2h free trial...
totally worth the 70GB download...NOT. Even if you don't have banana-net. Only if you have gigabit. :shit:

Also, anyone can get a 2h free trial by just buying and refunding the game... :steamsalty:

I mean it was good advertising, it got me to download it and play it for 2 hours. Had a good time and I learned how it would perform on my machine. So they are doing their job alright

Yep. 2 hours show up on your account and then you can't refund when you buy it....
Slick move Capcom.

Yeah right, you know what would be better advertising? A regular 2 day free trial, something that any normal publisher does in steam from time to time.
Here's a thing tho: once you launch the game clock starts ticking, right? One can play those 2hours with no problem, meanwhile other one can fiddle with options for 30min or so in trying to figure out how to make this game run smoother. Because among things I've heard about this game there was a severe lack of optimization.
So yeah, Capcom doint its best with inventing most questionable things one after another.
I genuinely was laughing when I saw steam pop up about this 2 hours trial, how generous.
EDIT: ah right right, just saw another thread. Add shader compilation in to the mix, which takes time from your free trial.

I don’t agree with all, but I must agree that a little more time would be better. 4 hours should be enough that people can test enough this game and get sure if the performance okey.

By the Way; The free trial is not only for Steam, but also for console. This has nothing to do with Steam refund policy that is only 2 hours.

Does it allow you to actually play much of the game? On the store page it suggests it's only for character creation, which was also a thing before the game released.

You can play the whole game for 2 hours, but i really recommend to use the character creation tool to make your character!

Ah, I see it now.

Originally I was only seeing the character creator. Now I see the play now button with two hours, above it.

Thnx.

There is an extra chracter-creator available, which is completely free. So you can take all the time you want to create your main character and -pawn. You can just use them in the game out of the creator, then. E. g. if you use the chracter-creator, you won't need to waste any time creating the chracter ingame...

Did the same, had a similar experience. Now thinking to purchase the game but reading all the negative reviews put me back to square 1. Still contemplating...

tried it , it was okay. not keen on the combat style tho. story seems good enough to keep me moving but the navigation on menus was poor and the map icons odd. I didnt dwell too much on reading the stuff but got the gist and went on with the game to see how it played.

i would say it helped me decide for now. was handy 2 hours. ( got to the castle city)

Yeah, if you have doubts then I would recommend waiting until the game get a bigger sale. It’s still pricey even with sale.

Happy to read that you both liked it and don’t had to many problems with it :ungabunga:.

... this is a LOL because you already have that given the refund period ... so ... why bother

I'll wait till you release the complete game in a couple of years, less the nickel and dime DLC and less the BS Denuvo crap

Would have been and nearly was a day 1 purchase but between Denuvo and the DLC they chose I have noped out ...

Not here for your opinion community just dropping the line here in the off chance some dev reads this and remembers it for his next stand-up meeting where some out-of-touch director tells him this unperformed

the reason ... you nickel and dimed its DLC and you added a hated anti-cheat to a single-player game
