"Further frame rate improvements are planned for future updates as well."

In before it doesn't do half of what is listed.

I hope this performance update didn't reduce the draw distance of npc's even further, because last patch it was a joke and I refuse to play a game where characters appear in front of me in 2024

I can tell there's been a noticeable increase, even with my outdated specs.
Ryzen 5 2600
GTX 1660
16GB RAM

Ngl, That's why i stopped playing.

I was tolerating a lot of the issues but enemies and npcs popping in infront of me? That's where i draw the line.

Ryzen 5 7600, Sapphire Pulse 7800XT, 32G Corsair 6000MHZ RAM, 2TB SSD, Win 11 should never have anything like that happen to it.

Fresh build JUST for DD2 so everything was up to date, Dev and graspers can't say i was using anything outdated.

How much of an fps increase was it?
I'm on a 3600 and usually get 35fps on vermund
can confirm that the update does "improve" performance a bit. I notice a few frames increase going from Medium & High texture -> Low. This was tested in Vernworth city

I can't even launch the game now

I managed to play 400+ hours. I think the game is highly polished. Don't judge the game based on performance in Vernworth. It's generally 60+ fps everywhere else.

The feature from DD1 got added, give it 10 year time and DD2 will get to the same quality as DD1.

maybe the rumored DLC will be amazing, but this patch is a good start! if a late one
