Expansion rumor/leaks

We will see when it comes out but i wonder...

So in the "leaks" it says that you will play as a female arisen as in a new character.
What happen to our main arisen?
Why not just continue with our own?
Never like expansions that adds a new character instead of continue with your own, espesially when you have created one.

Thoughts?

Are you talking about the Dragon Princess leaks, I thought they were debunked as fake.

Dragon Princess is debuked, trust that sh!t at your own risk. More to the point, they've never forced you to play as a character not your own; that's not ever been a thing in DD. Rest easy.

There's literally two full games, a fully featured expansion pack for one of them with at least 1 planned for its sequel. Not to mention the decade+ of time to just suddenly decide to release some content where you make a pregenerated character.

In that time, the only exception to that rule is DD1's prologue. Does that help?

you missread the Story is about a Female Arisen in the new region not you in what context no one knows if its true. You play normally as urself
