Spite Daggers OP?
I've been playing the thief for some time now and I'm starting to realize that the poison affect on the Spite Daggers is really really good when paired with Draw and Quarter. Has anyone else noticed this as well?

why would the poison effect specifically matter when using draw and quarter?

I played for almost entirety of first playthrough with those daggers and have never seen poison proc. Tbh thought they are bugged.

I would think they would be better with skull splitter? I assume the debilitation %. Is based on accumulation until it is applied, like how there are rings that “keep” certain debilitation stats from “accumulating”.

Pretty much where I'm at. Not sure if it's the elemental boon overwriting it or something but I've never poisoned an enemy. It's unfortunate because it's a pretty sick effect and poison is a lot more potent in this game.

I realized, everything could be possibly OP, if you built it with the right gear, the right skills and/or the right pawns. It just all depends.
I was not that satisfied with this daggers - the proc ticked very low and slow to see the benefit in it. but as I said, imho it all depends. :DSTghost: (fill in here weird echo noises)

I've seen it caused a poison debilitation on Chimera.

Poison is different in this game. If you apply it, sure, it adds a DoT to the target, but it doesn't end there... If you proc it again while it's already on the target, it takes out a big chunk of health.

I've noticed when I use Draw and Quarter on an enemies week point it almost always poisons the target.

you're right - some things stack up... I need to try it out more.

I could be wrong but I think the poison debilitation, unlike others, does not wear out over time? Or it just has a very long duration. So, there's that also.
