Lore behind Sphinx

I'm curious to know why Sphinx can't be killed with unmaking arrow and just teleports away as if doesn't bother her in the slightest. If unmaking arrow can kill demigods like arisen/seneschals(basically local puppets that help the world running), can we assume that she is a being of higher order or maybe just a wandering god not under jurisdiction of heaven's will, that just stumbled upon this world and found it interesting. Or is she still the part of the local pantheon of dd universe? if arisen/seneschals were maiar (in lotro terms)then she would be valar? Not exactly a god but a goddess, but still stronger than local powers of a singular world. What do you think?

I don't think its overly deep. She is just all knowing and maybe understands the secrets of the world, such as the cycle and knows she will be back in some form or another.

you have to shoot her in the body/butt. don't hit her in the face or boobs or she'll get mad and just leave. just like sexy time

It is just a natural place to aim when I'm facing her head on like that. I mean I could attack from behind but you miss out on all the details and beauty in the model.

I could speculate that she simply has no death animation when her health dips to 0 be that you bested her in the fight or shot her with unmaking arrow. However, Medusa's head makes it possible for every individual to "die" even if they don't have a death animation, so she is not likely to be a god in the world moored with Seneschal's care for made-up tales for Arisens to tread on their way to ascend.

anyway. my theory (might be absurd, im not a lore nerd) that sphinx is entity like grigori,worm,horned drake,brine. im not sure if those gets summoned by watching one/pathfinder? might be, since he s the only thing looks like higher than cycle. so sphinx is just a clone like them in my book/mind.

i hope the expansion make us face the pathfinder and an absolute ending.

Her death animation might just be an effect of her not being a normal flesh monster. But a magical one instead.

And why she says that you will meet again - I understand it as her having knowledge about the cycle and that's it, nothing deeper than that.

Thats a bit off-topic, but wdym face the pathfinder? He has died at the unmoored world ending. The final dragon you stab with the godsbane blade literally is the pathfinder. The expansion is going to be something entirely else. The pathfinder is no more.
