I don't think the devs are going to fix the performance issues, because I don't think they know how.

That's definitely how it seems. Plus it seems like the game's improvement and refinement just aren't a priority for capcom.

Every tiny, tiny little patch is released with a messaging tone of "well, aren't you grateful we did ANYTHING at all post launch?"

Imagine you owned a broken car, you manage to convince some sucker it isn't broken, and sell it to him for much more than it is worth. The buyer realizes you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ him over after the sale and demands you to fix the car, but you are a multimillion dollar company and he is just some sucker so you don't do ♥♥♥♥ and look for the next idiot to ♥♥♥♥ over.

i think it's more complicated than it seems for them to solve the problem without downgrading too much. they probably still work on it.

when tw3 came out, what was the solution cdpr found to fix performance issues ? downgrading the visuals. for sure it runs better after that.
i hope capcom doesn't fall so low.
Downgrading? Straight up deleting stuff, including main and secondary quests and npc's lol.

Downgrading the visuals isn't going to do anything for a CPU limited game. Also these things take time.

Patience, muppets.

i7 8700k
3080ti
16gb 3600 cl16

No RTX - High / Ultra

A few slowdowns here and there but rarely if at all in combat... Only when I hire a pawn does everything go to crap EVERYSINGLE timr, and I have to completly exit out the game & reload or maybe rest at Inn a couple of times.

Runs good enough for me with the quality of the environments & meshes... All the casuals don't understand and soo cry optimized. Sort ya rig out.

Low CAS memory will help alot with the 1% lows

It's RE engine... I don't know why people keep saying its CPU bound. Even then I'm rocking a 5950X, it uses 30-40% of my cpu.... it still tanks fps. Does it help? Yeah. Is that the reason? No.

I won’t play it unless it’s fixed. I can’t recommend a broken game. It’s a shame others ignore the poor performance and still recommend it anyway.

there are some mods in nexus that fix dlss...dlss files of the game don't work properly...there is also a workaround for 3000 nvidia cards...the mods fixed performance for me..i have a 4070ti and doubled the fps i was getting.

it is absolutely cpu bound. The game only max 2 cores than make the gpu drop to only 50-60 gpu usage.

this is why people shouldn't settle for lower standard at launch for games nowadays, use that 2h refund window, set timer b4 you launch the game.

that mixed review is not just bs, it's perfectly represent the potential and opportunity this title has squandered

This one is a frame generation mod. Uses ai to figure out what the game should reasonably look like between two frames and generates a new frame to fit between them. Massively boosts FPS but there is a huge problem with the HUD flickering and tearing when you use it, which is extremely distracting. The other mods that are floating around enable DLSS 3 which is only useable on 4000 series nvidia cards but apparently massivly improve FPS as well.

I have a 4070 super and I would like to use that dlss3 mod, but not that frame gen mod because I don't like screen tearing. What is that dlss3 mod?
