Definitely improved the experience for me, though the mod does require self control. I use the portcrystals for every settlement I visit that doesn't have its own portcrystal. Removes the tedium of backtracking for quests

no i was out of the forums for a week and then i noticed it. also i don't have any skeletons in my closet. you can read every one of my posts i have ever made on these forums in my post history.

I just find it really amusing that six months before DD2 released, Bethesda puts out Starfield in which there's basically just fast travel to and from planets. Now, in DD2 there's very little of it between POI on the map. Draws an interesting comparison.

Use oxcarts, probably where I picked up at least 15-20 of my levels. Im currently 60. I only use ferry stones when I have used up every pawns encumb and Im heavy as well. Definitely an emergency item but its not totally difficult to obtain tbh if you're using them a lot. Grab your gold and refresh stores. SIde note: I do use mods, but custom difficulty and true warfarer (considering nightmare collection/ rebalance mods for 'souls' difficulty gameplay).

Literally half the time the carts would bug out and you can't even get back on to go to your destination.

True, unfortunately the Oxcart doesn't travel to every settlement and has bugged out on me more than once aka vanish after being attacked and saved (not destroyed literally despawn)

how is it elitist? having to cheat in a game is a blatant skill issue.
you say you can read but you keep lying about the things i am saying and accusing me of being unhinged. if anyone is unhinged its the only delusional denying what cheating in a video game is when proof is presented to them and rather than listen to the facts i get called a troll because they have no actual facts to back up their stance. and some how this unhinged person thinks i have done grave error in calling the literal definition of cheating cheating.
