True.
If you spend your ferrystones wisely and make heavy use of oxcarts, is a non-issue.
You get three ferrystones for exploring Vernworth capital alone. And about a docen or so at caves and other places. And a **** ton in unmoored, even from enemies randomly.
Take time with this game: for example, one will have to go around talking to pretty much everyone anyway at some point, and the more one does it, the more they'll realize that the game sets them up to be aware of its quirks and workarounds for its obstacles. Most of the best quests in this game aren't main/mandatory quests, furthermore.
Basically, like the others have said, planning and thoroughness - along with a carefree attitude - mitigates a lot of the need for "EZ" things like even more extra portcrystals and eternal ferrystones. Half of the ferrystones I have I stole from big mobs, lol, for one thing.
The problem is actually ferry stones I agree, it's ridiculous purchasing them constantly just to use the port crystals, this should have made a quest or something, maybe they'll include it in the future. Would be nice to also have some dungeons in this game rather than just an endless series of varying types of caves.
Where did I mention ferrystones?
I do, I don't just zip around everywhere but if a quest requires me to return to an area that has no benefit for me to walk it i'll ferry. Mod just gives me access to get the portcrystal immediately - lets not pretend the devs didn't want people to use them, they made them MTX for convenience this mod just lets you buy those items for gold instead of RL money
You do understand the game already does this via MTX
i'd say the skill you lack is patience.
also the mtx can only be purchased once so its not really an eternal ferrystone. or fast travel. its one portcrystal and its useless cuz in game you can get the maximum amount of portcrystals aloud already.
Walking through empty areas is fun? Fair enough, but if others disagree, that doesn't make them a cheater lmfao.
Grow up, everyone can play the game however they like. 35 hours and not left Vermund so pretty sure I am getting my hours. Also if the game wasn't designed to fast travel ferrystones wouldn't exist
