How do you buy the noble house in Vernworth?
I've heard you're supposed to talk to some guy named 'Salvatore' standing outside the house, though he seems to be conspicuously absent.

He will disappear sometimes, usually from being in between a quest that he needs before he offers you the house. Occasionally the saurians or goblins will work their way close enough to him to hit him but I've never seen them kill him. Did you pawn wipe the town? He might be in the morgue.

Noble house isn't really worth it. Barely any furniture, your lovers visit the commoner house over the noble house, no option to cuddle with pawn in the large bed. Tis a shame. :blasbaby:

Agreed but I think it would be worth it if you could cook in it, achieving the same benefits of a campfire bonus. Not sure why they made camping more beneficial than having a 200k home but...... maybe a kitchen wouldn't hurt in the upscale building.

I've not killed anyone in the town yet, nor has there been any monster attacks.

The main story quest I'm on is Seat of the Sovran, and I've not done the 'A Place to Call Home' in Vernworth, seeing as I was planning to go straight for the noble house instead.

You probably should me more advance to unlock the mansion. The guy is in front of the house most of the time and could walk around in the noble quarter from time to time. You should not miss him at some point in the story.

He only becomes available after completing A Place to Call Home. This is the quest for the common home for 20k. Once the week is up and you have talked to Mildred to close out the quest will Salvatore start looking to sell the house in the noble quarter.

I bought both noble houses in a playtrough but there are really no benefits and visitors for quests still knocking on you'r the door of the old cheap shag.
