This is all that I tried to do since the update:
GPU: RTX 3080 12gb
MB: Z390 AORUS PRO
Processor: i9-9900k @ 3.60GHz
RAM: 32gb 3733mhz
1. Added the game to the antivirus Exception List;
2. Changed Cache Size;
3. Tried debug mode on NVIDIA Control Panel;
4. Limited FPS on NVIDIA Control Panel;
5. Tried admin mode on Steam and DD2;
6. Changed priority to high on Task Manager;
7. Changed LDRLoad on registry to 0 and 10;
8. Crashes with and without mods;
9. Lowering the graphics makes the crash occurs ~10 seconds later;
10. Installed the game on a 1tb NVME and 220 SSD;
11. Clean installed the game 5 times, deleted everything that I could find;
12. Tried deleting my saves and starting a new one;
13. DD2 Character Creation works with no issues;
14. Updated vcredist, directx, GPU (clean driver install);
15. Restarted the system everytime that I tried something new;
16. Tried undervolting my GPU;
17. Turned off XMP and tried differents MHZ;
18. Only thing that worked was installing Reframework and DLSS3 Framegen, worked for about 3/4 hours and the last update came in and now nothing works;
19. Tried other RE Engine games and it's working fine, played RE4 for an hour without stutters or crashes;
20. Tried compability mode on Steam and DD2;
21. Didn't try to reinstall my windows because I saw a lot of people trying it and it didn't solve anything;
22. Verified Integrity of the Game Files a lot of times;
23. Tried compability mode and the game starts with invisible floors and crashes the same;
24. Tried turning of my HDR;
25. Tried possible process (Discord, Teams, Spotify, Google Chrome) and start the game;
26. Disabled ALL overlays;
27. Deleted shaders.cache2 everytime that I tried something new;
28. Cleaning Steam cache;
29. dx11 launch;
30. Changed config.ini with config_default.ini
31. It doesn't matter the graphics setting, it always crash;
32. Tried "Disable Fullscreen Optimization";
33. Did a Stress Test and no issues here;
34. Updated my Bios and Chipset drivers, now I could play for about 3 minutes and it crashed again;
35. Uninstalled a lot of programs that kept some processes opened, optimized other things;
36. Tried loading older saves;
37. Installed DLSS framegen again and could play for a minute or two but it crashes;
38. Tried changing my virtual memory and uninstalled other games from my Nvme to clear space;
39. Tried other DLSS versions;
40. Tried playing offline;
41. Tried deleting some files in the DD2's folder hoping that I could remove this second update. I'm doing literally everything that I can lol;
42. Installed an earlier version of my GPU Driver, the version that I used when I could play the game.
Some people fixed it doing a thing or another but in my experience nothing works.
CPU: 10900K @ 5.2
GPU: EVGA 3090 FTW3U
RAM: GSkill 64GB CL18 4000Mhz
SSD: 970 EVO+ 2TB
I tried updating my driver and there's no change it does the same thing. Giving the game high priority doesn't prevent crashing either.
if your hdd ssd has an error you wont see it
i had a lose cable on my old hdd in cybrpunk wich caused exactly this.
since i installed all on my on board M2 ssd + os all problems are gone.
also make sure to enable extendet virtual space on your hdd ssd 12GB minimal.
this will help a lot.
A new message pops-up about framework and then it force closes before game starts.
Have tried verify installed files, but no luck.
