As far as falling to irretrievable depths during exploration: try running away from the area a little ways and running back. Chances are the pawn will respawn closer to you. The same mechanic that auto-spawns your pawns closer to you when you're running/climbing/dropping too fast for the AI to keep up with still triggers when they are unconscious.
Really, why do I even bother posting here. People seldom address the issue being raised. All most do here is go off on a tangent or pretend the issue does not exist
I'd like it to change to allowing the revive option in a more forgiving radius, not the current restriction the requires exact placement of your character in relation to the pawn, to get the revive option.
I'm playing on PC, maybe the game changes the requirements for a game console
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just popped up whenever I wander near them. I've certainly never had to wiggle back & forth to get it.
How strange.
Sometimes it also happens if you made an extra step while stopping from a run, and it's very annoying.
Just forget i even asked. I'll just play a magic archer and then this stupid game will allow me to revive my pawn, without trying to overcome this glitchy revive positioning mechanic.
Not sure why they go with this super slow 3 secs angle locked animation thing.
So all we can do is try to not let pawns die too often now
