This IS the final quest of the main story, however what happens after you defeat the dragon differs dependent on your actions during the fight/coronation sequence. Defeating the dragon leads to this sequence, and the credits will roll. If you just wait out the credits, sit in the throne, or leave the party the game will end and you will be brought to the main menu, where it asks if you want to start new game + or return to your latest save.
However! If you talk to the Pathfinder (spooky blue god person) who materializes during the party, you will be chastised for wanting more. He will teleport to the center of the room, and if you talk to them again they will offer you the chance to try again with a different perspective. Starting the fight with the dragon again, this time with new dialogue. The trick here is to go to between the dragons wings, where your chest will start to glow, and THEN you can go into your inventory and use the godsway. Killing yourself with the godsway at this point unlocks access to the true ending, the unmoored world. Failure to do so results in having to fight the dragon again, bringing you right back to the coronation.
The Unmoored World has a time limit of sorts. You need to go to the sea shrine directly in front of you, find your pawn, and deal with the 4 red lights (and locations) in a timely fashion otherwise the fog will close in and you will lose. Time doesn't progress like normal, however it does progress when you sleep at any point. You can do this 12 times total before the game locks you out of the option to rest. Dying (without a wakestone) at any point will force you to restart the entire unmoored world sequence from the start, so BE CAUTIOUS. There is a different (minor) ending if your main pawn adores you.
You decided you want to to everything else before completing that quest, so do literally that.
It's not a timed quest.
But yeah if you do make the new godsbane, avoid the door, cutscenes happen there and one quest ended for me there before I was able to complete it, no idea if there are more than 1.
