A New Godsway quest ending
I've seen different info about the ending of this quest. Some say get all the side quests done, because the game won't let you do anything else until the end. Some say ending this quests seems to start a slow but real clock advancement to the end of the game.. Some say nothing at all. Here's the thing, I've barely been past Batahhl, much less done whatever side-quests and exploration are available in the rest of the world. So ... do I just go exploring on my own in the test of the world, and then complete "A New Godsway"? Or will I be able to end that quest and still explore and do all the side quests, without worrying about being pushed right through the rest of the main quests?

giving the sword to the guy in research lab for repair is the first step for triggering the endgame. but even if you gave it to him you an still do other quests as long as you don't go to the place the " a new godsway" quest ask you to go.

I'm at this part, how much of the game do I have left, including the true ending? I already did the majority of side-quests I wanted to do.

unmoored world for true ending is supposed to last 12 ingame days.
12 ingame days is more or less 2 or 3 hours of playtime i guess.

What about the parts of the game before that? How long would that take?

Between the boss fight after giving and repairing the sword and the Dragon fight, about 10-15 mins, give or take

If you wonder, a random NPC will give you a warning about resting before progressing, thats your "no turning back" point if you wonder.

So once you reach that NPC, if you have stuff to do yet, do it then before moving forward.

A bit of a warning, pretty sure the Boss fight right after retrieving the repaired Godsway can cancel certain quests and remove vendors if not defeated in time, so if you really wanna be careful, dont pick up the Godsway or give it to Ambrosious to begin with before doing everything else.

The real point of no return is when you fight the giant statue. Completing the godsway quest will cancel the 2 quests where you meet mr killmonger haircuit no #325.
