Not sure how often this check is triggered.
That said, not sure if you're on the kind of data plan where you want to use your phone (which I assume is what you're posting from now) as a WiFi hotspot, but if you are, you can use that to quickly run the game online, shut it down, disconnect the hotspot, and then continue to play offline.
Where my desktop is, I can't tether the phone to connect and open the game, and also this isn't a thing I should need to do for a game that I played yesterday night.
I shouldn't need to go out of my way to make something work, what if I discovered that while doing a trip with my laptop
The game has an offline mode, Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen works if you don't have internet
I'm sure this is a dumb denuvo check, and it is so stupid, makes me so angry, I only wanted to play a game that I own, and I have the files on my computer
This really makes me think that I should have a pirate copy THAT WOULD WORK OFFLINE
