You might've either overwritten your pawn's specialization with something else, or dismissed the pawn that knew elvish.
Basically if you can't understand it anymore its because you replaced the trait on your pawn and neither of your rented pawns have it either.
Doesn't make it not stupid. I speak Spanish and I can still organize a fking backpack.
That's how the game designed it, you should've admitted already that you did not read those tutorials, did something wrong, then got mad.
To be fair, nobody reads the entirety of something that's filled with meaningless info or that should be common sense.

I can see why devs still insist on even having tutorials in games. I guess they aren't enough anymore, gotta go with font size 80 moving forward with 'important parts' in bold, italic, underlined and glowing with rainbow colours.
And people will probably still miss it.
