Save file got deleted after 100hours

Been having the issue of the game crashing on startup since launch, dealing with the annoyance of having to redo all of my settings every time I go back to the main menu. Just dealt with it.

Well today I booted up, game crashed 3 times before I finally got in and my entire save file is gone. Checked the local save data and it made an entire new one from today.

Deleting the game until we get a patch.

But hey, you know...there are still people defending the 1-2 slot sautosaving system in other threads because, your know "you have to learn that your decisions have perm consequences" ;-)

Forcing 2 save slots and preventing manual saves in a game as riddled with performance problems as this (for a lot of people) it completely ridiculous, negligent, and shows complete indifference to QoL for the people who bought the game.

After seeing the update, checking the forums, and seeing the problems people are discussing the first thing I did is go and backup my save files to my personal cloud storage. Wouldn't be the first time a broken game and/or corrupted my save files. But it won't get me this time...

Sorry you got hit with it. Hopefully if / when you return to the game it's in a far better state but even then I would look into a save manager or do periodic manual backups.

Save file still there but keeps hard crashing when I try to load into it same with trying the Inn Save... Great update this turned out to be smh

Nice try chuckle nutz, there is no new game option! Also it's happening a lot with the new update.

You have cloud save at the least? I've notice people on my friendlist had that issue as well for simply moving their game from one drive to another and they had cloud save off.
