Please!! Fix Hugo's quest!!!

This is my second cry from the heart - fix the quest with Hugo!
Hugo is standing far from the dungeon doors and there is no way to talk to him! How can I move it closer?!

In the first playthrough, he didn’t talk to me at all, no matter what I did.
Now there's a new problem!
PLEASE fix this quest!
How long can you suffer??!!!!!!
Look how many players are complaining about the malfunction of this quest!

Thank you, but I know this and have already talked about it. I'm going through it a second time.
The problem is that Hugo himself stands FAR from the dungeon bars and there is no way to communicate with him - the button does not light up.

This is one of the most buggy quests, so I hope the developers will see and take the time to fix the quest.

The trick is to talk to the other prisioner AND not to tell him the truth about his parents or you screw the quest. If you did tell him the truth you might hurry to Ancient Battleground before he does some stupid thing :-)

Yeah you can do it all right and he can still stand too far back and get annoying to make it let you interact with him. It’s just like that sometimes

What does this have to do with cunning or not?
I can’t talk to him at all, because he STANDS FAR FROM THE GRATES OF THE DUNGEON! Can you understand this? What is my quest bug?

I'm sure the problem with HUGO being so far away is a bug.
I have seen in some guides that the presence of the other prisoner does not affect HUGO's presence.

I already talked..more than three probably..he’s still standing far away ((((

i had the same bug, 3rd prisoner never showed up, hugo never moved from his spot, guard would not release him even after a week of resting. seems you are now required to break into his cell, grab him and take him outside while dodging guards. then talk to him. and no matter what do not tell him about his parents if they give you the option.

I think what you have to do at least what I did. Talk to the guard pay the bribe talk to the other thief go to the new hide out location he tells you of and after the fight there Hugo will show up

You need to speak to coral snakes prisoner twice for him to tell you truth about Hugo parents. Only than Hugo will move close to the gates so you can speak to him. Bribing guard trice leads to neutral ending which you probably don't need. You dont need 3rd prisoner from empress questline to trigger Hugo movement, for her quest there will be another coral snake bandit to talk to.

For best ending you need to help Wilhelmina, wait a day so she leave and talk to prostitute before entrance of bordello to learn about job opportunity, than go about his questline untill you told him about his parent killer. After this rest a day(on the bench so you will have inn save for any mishaps that you may do). Go to prison and learn that Hugo escaped, one prisoner(or was it guard?) will tel you that he probably will go to coral snakes new hideout for a revenge. Without delay travel there(you will have 72 hour so even by oxcart travel is acceptable, but i just set portcrystal near entrance beforehand) and at the top of the castle where was an Armored Cyclops will be camp with bandits. Kill them all and Hugo will appear and lament about denied revenge. Tell him to live a honest life, than tell him you belive in him and mention that bordello need a bodyguard. That will net you best resolution of quest.

trust me hes likely done that. i had the exact same bug. its not so black and white like you make it out to be. and bribing the guard will not make a neutral ending, you can still tell him to go to the chatau after you rip him from the cell and refuse to tell him about his parents (cuz you know the second coral snake will tell you after giving gold).
