Spoiler: Sara needs to get to the entrance of the cave quick before...
Sara needs to get to the entrance of the cave quick before the hammer cools down. So I just grabbed here in the cave at the open spot and teleported her back to Bakbattahl.

But nooooooooooo...
She needs to go to the entrance of the cave quick because running is obviously way faster even if that takes a day or two to get where we are in a second.

What other cave are you even talking about?
I teleported from the Volcanic Island cave straight to the smity in Bakbattahl where she started forging the sword.
But like I said she prefers to walk back instead I guess...

She doesn't use that anvil if it was even there since when you return to Brokkr he will explain her on what to do with it.
Wrong. When you get back to Bak, the sword is already magma forged, meaning she did it at the anvil at the front of the cave. Then he chews her ear off, because the magma forging is only half the process. Then he instructs her how to perform the second part, which is what she does in Bak.

And you thought this would be successful? I would be more surprised if going so far outside the bounds of the quest didn't just break it completely. This reads like a slapstick comedy skit.

Your pawns should be Moe, Larry and Curly.

You clearly have not done that quest or else you would have known that that cave has a space where you can see the sky which makes using a Ferrystone possible...

This works with many others quests so the joke is on you...

I kind of doubt that quests which give you a literal target location complete correctly when you teleport to a location miles away from said target.

My first reply was commiserate and meant in a joking manner, this one is just annoyed.

Magma forging doesn't just require the magma at the volcano, but also the anvil at the volcano's entrance. She can't magma forge the sword back in Bakbahtal.

Besides, I don't know if it shows this or anything, but I'd guess she left the blade itself at the anvil at the cave entrance, so warping her with the hammer to Bakbahtal meant the still-not-forged blade is stuck back at the cave entrance. After all, no reason to lug the blade itself all the way inside the cave when you'd only need it at the anvil.
