Is there any point to the Unmoored World?
I already don't like this game in it's entirety, but people keep telling me that the post dragon content is amazing. I already watched a friend play it and it looked like a bunch of walking and fighting purple snake dragons.
I can barely bring myself to launch this game as is, so I am just curious if it is actually worth slogging through the rest of the main game to see it?

Nah. There is need for you to play. Since you hate the game stay off the forums.

Play what you want to play, dont allow yourself to be pressured doing something you dont want by anyone, least of all influencers

Are you mad because people have qualms about your new favorite game that will be forgotten in a month

Nope. It is where you get the highest tier of weapons and upgrades, but nothing in this game is challenging enough to warrant the time or effort. There isn't even an UR Dragon.

There's a few pieces of gear there you can only obtain while there, unless of course you get a friend to send you the stuff, I guess.

Two unique enemies too I suppose, but they fight like gimmick bosses rather than straight up fights.

It's easier to acquire Boltscale too, and when you rest everything respawns immediately (but you can only rest up to 12 times) so farming certain monsters is a lot easier during that section.

Also it's like, night time but you can see like it's day time. Dullahans, skeletons and wights out, and wraiths, phantoms, phantasms and specters are roaming around, some of those are pretty rare and drop rare materials, namely Eldricite.

Also with the water gone a few new areas appear, as well as every river and coastline turning into a new area you can check out, which is kinda cool, I guess.

Every NPC gets moved into one area too, which can be convenient. Especially for traders?

Also monsters start dropping ferrystones quite commonly, so that's nice for stocking up too, I guess.

And finally, it's story content too. So that's cool.

It's worth it, even if you only go there once. You did pay to play a video game, right? You may as well experience it, get your money's worth, etc.

1. Amazing action will keep you wanting more.

2. challenging.

3. outstanding presentation of the big monsters.

4. lots of weapons.

5. very customizable. (not just characters)

6. A simple story to understand.

7. grab people and throw them off cliffs.

8. climb on top of a monster and rapidly stab in while trying not to fall off.

9. awsome animations that make you feel unstoppable.

10. open world and a lot of loot.

My only complaints about unmoored world are its unusual keybindings.

So I rate 10/10 why haven't you launched the game?

EDIT: sorry if this is annoying to read, im a gen z

You have 93.8 hours on record.....but you can barely bring yourself to launch the game....how odd.

In all seriousness though, if you're not enjoying yourself, you simply don't have to play. I'm not sure if this is a troll post or a serious post, but either way spend your time the way you enjoy it. If you don't like the majority of the game, then the end portion won't change your outlook on it. It's still going to be the same game that plays the same way, just in a different area.

Did you copy paste this response from the troll playbook?

Do better. This is sad.

The Unmoored World is the sole place i was able to find Bosses that would't die within seconds. Story part of it was okay but it mainly just nice to find something to fight that wasn't entirely weak. I say not entirely cuz while the bosses did had a chunkier heath bar, their ability to actually deal damage was also meh. As a MA main i spent most of the time dealing damage to the bosses than barriering or healing my team.

Also, wtf is that username lmao

Why bother asking what they asked in the post if that's their full opinion on this game.. Probably just to troll other peoples opinions honestly.. Don't Waste Peoples Time Asking If You Already Made Your Mind Up About The Game...

If you don't like the base game you'll not like unmoored world either, it's just more of the same with stronger monsters and more tools to overpower them. Even best games aren't for everyone and DD started as niche game which some people absolutely love and others hate, it's fine, no reason to convince anyone otherwise.

If this means toxic randoms will stop posting in the forum, it can't be forgotten soon enough.
