Can't get the meister skill from Sigurd

Hello all,

I saw several posts about this both in steam discussions and several other forums but couldn't find a clear answer yet.

Let me give you some statusses for my playthrough

    
• Sigurd is alive in his house in Harve Village
      
• I defated the dragon in Melve with my theif like in a regular fight (no balista)
      
• I didn't speak Sigurd in Melve (didn't even notice him)
      
• Much later in the game, I found him in Harve Village at his house and get the Mystic Spearhand vocation
      
• After this step, he don't move from his home for me and only two dialogue options; Ask his name or Ask about his manner of fighthing
      
• There is no option for giving gifts
      
• I completed the main quest that requires you to collect Wyrmslife Cyristals for Ambrosius
      
• I didn't talk to Oracle while doing the quest since I already had 15 cyristal on me (so Oracle didn't mark lesser dragon and Sigurd didn't go there
      
• I went Dragonsbreath Tower twice during my exploration, last time after all of the events above. There is a dragon and defated it both times but Sigurd weren't at the tower.

So are there anyone experiencing this issue and find a solution for this? Thank you in advance.

He is always located at either Dragonsbreath tower or Harve village coastal hut when in standby except for the Melve event. So double check each of the three locations. If you still cannot find him there is the possibility he was attacked by something and was killed. Which means you should be able to find him the Mortuary in Vernworth if the game mechanics work correctly. DO NOT have the mortuary guy mark the coffin for you, it costs 5000 gold and does not indiciate that anywhere. There should not be that many dead people so you should be able to pick him out just fine. I've only revived people in the mortuary who have died near Vernworth, or were guards from Vernworth in towers outposts. I am not certain his body would get carried there, but thats my understanding of the game mechanic. You'll need a wakestone to revive him.

If he still doesnt give you the scroll and you still can't give him gifts, trying resting for two days and coming back

The only solution I can think of, if you cant give him gifts is to equip the Eternal Bond ring and see if that has any effect.

Regardless the meister skill is cool looking but its kind of just a median skill between gap close and damage dealer. I do not really use it after unlocking the second tier of the gap closer skill.

So even if you can't manage to fix this bug, your not missing out on much.

You can mod your game to give yourself the maister skill scroll if you cant find a fix from others. "Gain item" or something like that

I literally have the same problem, any solution?? At the top there is a regular drake.

I'm not playing the game anymore my friend. But while I'm playing it, I couldn't find any solution to that. I just go and grab it in the NG+
