This game is filled with so many trolling / retarded mechanics...
I cant believe you can not buy back sold weapons, you can not pass time - you need to find a bench or go to the inn... It almost makes it justified to cheat... Its like gameplay from 1990s...

I enjoy it for now but it seems that mechanics in the game were made on purpose to slow down player, to make him go into the tedious travels and fights with hordes of goblins and at least big bosses fights here are interesting...

I have a feeling this all was done to hide how shallow this game is... The world is not alive, for example i went down the tower and here it strucked me, in the basement of the towere there were some enemies - in Skyrim it would be some kind of Necromancer doing experiments, giving illusion of life but here - just 2 - 3 bandits doing nothing.... There is a lot of examples like that - without big bosses this game would be 2/10, I give it strong 6...

What mods would you recommend, will my pawn be shadowbanned? Thats the only mechanic that is useful and funny here - I would prefer not to lose it...

"you can not pass time - you need to find a bench" - it is the part of immersion.

One problem I got, and there's no mod for this that I'm aware of, is there's not enough big enemies to fight, it's a gauntlet of trash mobs with a few big mobs here and there. I'd prefer to see like 5x more big enemies, including 2, 3, 4 in 1 area. Quadruple cyclopes, dual drakes with 2 minotaurs, let's go.

I am also afraid of shadobanning, othwerise i would do it... Imagine risking the most funny mechanics in the game because u want to fix the idiotic ideas devs put it there...

Your pawn won't be shadowbanned, unless you do 1 of 3 things. Your pawn's base stats exceed naturally gained parameters, or your pawn is equipped with gear that its class can't normally use, or gear with artificial stats. Or, modding to make a pawn an elite class like magic archer. As long as you don't do stuff like this, you won't get banned.

There's a shop mod that lets you buy port crystals and ferrystones from the shops for 1g. There's another mod that removes the port crystal cap from 10-255. You can literally port crystal every camp and settlement in the game if you want. There's a mod that's already done that, there's a mod that allows you to move a port crystal map icon to anywhere else on the map, etc. Among other stuff.

I modded the hell out of my game, and my pawn isn't shadow banned, I logged in earlier and over 40 people used it since last night.

Dark Arisen 2 will most likely arrive within 11 months, rumoured to drop November

Any mod that does NOT do the following is safe:
-> Alter your pawn's attributes
-> Alter your pawn's maximum carry weight beyond the total of +12 permanent weight bonus
-> Grants your pawn equipment they are not allowed to wear on that vocation
-> Total conversion / rabalance mods

Anything else is fine and can be used freely. I have been using better levitate for movement with +20 speed and 10 min max duration, I use the mod to see all seeker tokens, I use the mod for more jump height and I don't need much else since the game is easy enough.

There is a mod to increase difficulty by applying beefy health and damage boni to enemies. I plan on using that NG+

Thanks! So at least as I dont touch pawn stats / modify her anyway then I am good, what about giving myself some gold/cratfing mats?

Have you found a mod that allows you to freeze level gains for both the pawn and the arisen? Or set a custom level cap? The game would be a little more challenging if the level cap was 30. Also, 30 cap for pawns would mean they get hired more.

That's perfectly safe. Even giving your pawn massively OP weapons at early levels is safe.

There doesn't even appear to be a stamina cost penalty for using the said gear like there was in DD1.

What I hate the most is how punishing exploration is. I am a sorcerer, I just maxed it out right now, and I can't do ♥♥♥♥. Literally, a group of goblins? I have my pawn and 2 hired ones and they'll always target me when I'm casting. Ok, fine, I'll run away a bit and cast. No, because the goblins have this dash attack to hit you, or jump on you, or this 3 hit combo to take away half your life.

I'm talking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ goblins here, which were melted by a single fire attack in DD1. Then we have the lizards, which are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid because, again, 3 hit combo to take away more than half of your life, and then they jump on you and pin you tot he ground. Like, I CAN'T EVEN OUTRUN THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ENEMIES WHEN I'M LOW WEIGHT, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?

A pack of wolves will start attacking me from each side, timing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ atacks to, once again, give me a 3 hit combo. This is stupid, completely unfair, and it seems to be made for you to pick a melee attack class, like fighter or warrior.

Oh, and don't get me started on the fact the enemies won't attack each other. Group of 3-4 bandits and a pack of 2-3 lizards? They've been friends for their whole life and won't hit each other at all. Like what the ♥♥♥♥ is this?

Have you tried the Thief augment Subtlety?

Reduces chances enemies target you in fights

Also make sure your pawns include 1 fighter with shield drum

Enjoy it while it lasts. Once you leave the early game behind everything becomes an easy drag. Especially as a sorcerer. Your maister skill will melt them in seconds.

As for the last part of your post, it's not true. Enemies of different variety fight with each other all the time. But they won't if you rush in and break up their fight, presenting the highest level threat. That's when they get to you.
