Pawn Affinity and Barber?
So, I know you can raise your affinity, and get your pawn to be affectionate with you through different means, however the Barber shop seems to increase it by the most.

I'm just wondering, when you use the Barber shop, what is it you actually have to do, to raise your affinity with your pawn?

Does it surmount to just using a Book, or paying money? And do you have to change anything on your Pawn at all, or can you just pay the money and hit "accept"?

I looked into this and from what I did you have to make a change and pay money. There are internal cooldowns for pawn affinity increases that are hidden, they are mostly 10 minutes in game. If you want to brute force it, the reddit thread I looked at mentioned that returning to title and saving resets the cooldown but I didn't modify my game to verify. Final note, your pawn will not always show the signs that they love you, the blush that other npcs have and special idle animation (mine was hand over heart reaching out animation for a straightforward pawn) when you small talk them. You can try to compare with a guest pawn with the same personality but really just look for the blush and animation.

TL:DR Barber supposedly increases pawn affinity by 50 when you pay for a pawn edit (any option) at a barber at a 10 minute cooldown. Saving and Returning to title resets cooldown with some hard cooldowns that people don't really know about. Pawns do not always show signs that they love you.

If you play the game normally and don't rush the story, you will get there regardless. I'm level 65 first play through, went to barber once and otherwise played normally. Pawn affinity at 620 and they blush all the time now.

You can raise it by paying gold and just changing one thing regardless of what it is. If you like your pawn as it is, you can change something like the sheen of your hair by 1 point more or less and be done with it.

That's perfect, thank you, just the info I was looking for.

I'm not too sure what my affinity is with my Pawn yet, as I dont' have the mod installed, but I do notice she does a different animation with me, holding her hands in front of her, but she does not Blush.

I heard having your pawns affinity changed the story, a "Little" bit, probably not as much as I'm wanting since i've already done "True" ending.

But still, it would be something new to do anyways.

There is a different extra tidbit to the ending. Nothing else from what I can tell. And your pawn will say more nicer things like how much they like being with you, rather than the annoying things.
