FOUND ACTUAL FIX FOR FPS ISSUES AND EXPLANATION
Ive been testing the game for a while, monitoring stuffs and etc, and its pretty much clear that the problem is the CPU usage (or more saying, the way the game try to use) Which never for me past around 40 percent... while the GPU being use ONLY 2 percent, which is insane.

I realized that the game appears to be bottlenecking on its own for some freaking reason, and Ive been searching a way to force GPU usage, while providing a smoother work for CPU.

What I found is... Actually pretty simple, and I got a HUGE fps boost:

-On taskbar, put DD2 Exe to high priority, it will make the game use cpu a bit better.
-FOR WINDOWS 10 and 11 only, and its very important, activate the GPU SHEDULING, on the windows options.

its on config, System, screen, graphic options (all down) GPU sheduling. Restart.

I dont recommend letting it on, but definitely works for DD2, which the game works like poop, barely using gpu.

Edit: You could also do a profile for GPU usage for the game only instead, in the same page, for HIGH performance Gpu, Didnt test and compared too much this one.

Win 10 options, I think its on 11 too.

It forces stuffs using CPU to use your GPU.

I've been running the game that way since day 1, and it is barely any better. I still get around 30fps in the capital.

got 20 fps boost everywhere.

For some reason the game barely used my gpu without the tweaks.

I dont use mods or anything.

Im still testing but the dif is night and day so far.

Aye, well we've already established that this has different effects for different people. Some it makes a huge difference to, and others not so much. For me it does basically nothing.

May depend on the GPU.

If you're using the last two gen of AMD processors this should already be on.

it only gave +5 to +10. its not a revelation or anything, not the first time i used it for a game but im still so far away from 144fps. there s literally no difference between 70 and 80fps for my eyes, feels like 60fps. i want my 144fps.

A guaranteed way to fix fps is dragonplague. :dragonemblem:

Yeah, definitely not a fix, I got really excited.

For me its a +20 fps boost, which is pretty huge considering how crappy the game runs, and use the hardware.

You can't work around the poor CPU usage baked into the game till they patch it.

You can force the game to use your GPU and aliviate the issue With some tweaks.

The one I found pretty much works, but it also depends on your own rigs and how the game's been playing with your CPU.

Some people had like only +5 fps, others +10, myself got +20, last one Ive read someone had like a +30 improvement.

People with more than 60 fps will probably dont see much of a difference, and they can still play pretty well without it.

Hope capcom speed their ass and give us some notable fix already, because this is a sad joke.

My face when you have 56fps in 2k on a 3080ti and 5800x3d in the city, and you've had that setting on for six months....
