I need help with the Grimoire!

Please help me. I don't understand how to find Grimoire "Towering earth". Either Waldhar didn't give it to me, or I sold it and don't know what to do now.
I already have 4 different grimoires, and also 3 duplicates (not fakes) but I'm missing the last one to complete the quest!
The forger doesn't have it either. :(

Did you increase your affinity with Waldhar? He does give it to you after you do the Caged Magistrate quest.

unfortunately "Towering Earth" can only be obtained once per run through locking anyone that is not on new game+ out of two maister skills that gives you the original.
do hope you can get this resolved though.

ngl you're prob boned this playthrough as to me it sounds like you sold it off. You can give a forgery to the guy at rest stop to get maelstrom, you need the real thing for the girl though. Wouldn't be hard to get someone to gift you a forged one at least. Getting a real one is asking someone to axe their own quest if they haven't gotten Meteron already.

Yes, since I received my 7th grimoire, I've run to him about 5 or 6 times, hoping that something would happen.
I don't know anymore. I'll go try to give him a ring I got from the Sphinx. Maybe that will help...

You have to return to him after you have the quests to get the books. I dithered around too wondering if I had sold or lost it until I returned to him again. He has unique dialog tied to the quest and everything
