Point of forgotten riftstones?

Im in NG+ now and I really dont see the point of activating them again?
I didnt even see the point in the first playtrough? Its nice if your pawns die and you can rent some replacements. But other than that, do they serve a purpose?

you get 30RC plus the chance of encountering a "good" pawn

Some rift stones (perhaps even most of them?) haves special properties, like only showing female/male pawns or specific monikers or only show pawns that has quests (this is what i use the most) and stuff like that. Once you activate these they will also unlock those options in capital rift stones
