Edit: If I'm not mistaken, you could also just run to the nearest town, change your vocation to mage and come back. I once discarded some dried flowers in front of the tourist trap inn in Bakbatthal, went all over the world map for a few days, came back and they were there just as I left them. Might work for loot.
I have had Mage Pawns say, "I can use my ability master" and I'll command "Go!" but I've also not had any luck with them actually doing anything. They will Levitate towards something then quickly return back to me as soon as they step to the other side.
I feel these Pawn Commands are bugged/glitchy and just a shortcut in development that had to be done to release this rushed game. It infuriates me that there is no actual Command that I can give them to use an ability assigned to them or for them to use. And I hate they don't keep to Commands. I like the "Come to me" Command but they stay near me for 20 seconds then run around.
Stupid system
