For example, the farmstead on the cliff outside Vernworth can spawn Cyclopes and Ogres. The road between Ja'Nuwa and Sandspire in Southern Battahl can spawn a Cyclops or a Goreminotaur.
Many of these pools seem dependent on your progress in the main quest. Most spawns are guaranteed, meaning there will always be a monster there (except during grace period after killing it). Some are not guaranteed, meaning a monster has a chance of spawning. This includes the Wight in Illdoer's Rest (outside of Dullahan quest), or the cyclops south of Headwater Cavern (North west out of Vernworth).
i think the spawns are static, but you might need to be far enough away for them to spawn when conditions are correct. pretty much every other monster i've fought has been in the exact same spot.
Respawns might be based on 7 day cycles or some other factor, or there might be other prerequisites to get initial/respawns.
I was under the impression that both apply, but I also have since had weird spawns in places that previously didn't have any, while others stayed constant, so I'm losing faith in my theory, lol. It's probably what Shard of Manus said, that spawn camps just have chances of A, B or No Spawn.
