So there have been several levels where my pawn, which stayed mostly as a thief for a long while, got zero strength but gained some magic on level ups, even as a strength vocation. And then got huge increases in magic on levelups as a magic vocation because her magic stat was low for her current level.
So, just play enough, and it won't matter.

OH ok that change things then.
So even if the max lvl is 999 at lvl 200 every stats would be the same i see.
I'm almost lvl 60, haven't hitted the endgame yet. I think i'll get to NG+ arround lvl 70 maybe.
So i think i can finish NG+ at lvl 100+
So yes lvl 200 is possible.
I just finished NG+ with lvl104 without any XP multiplier and started a NG++ just for fun so it seems NGxxx is possible but at the present state with no scaling or scaling mods, really only for fun or completetition rather than for challenge.
I just wonder why there are still no scaling mods but they will surely come.
Let's see what Capcom is preparing for the next patch but they have a few things to fix that I don't think they can focus on new features at the moment.
