Any improvements with the latest NVIDIA update?
Has anyone noticed better performance with the latest NVIDIA drivers (552.12)? The game is running ok with the old ones but sometimes I get huge FPS issues in menus. I don't want to update because it could be worse lol.

Would like to know as well. I'm using a driver from last year bc the one prior to the latest actually tanked my performance for some reason so i rolled it back.

It got worse for me, though not that much worse anyway, but now I get short freezes when traversing "from region to region".

I notice no difference. Wilderness is ok, cities have a visible performance loss... too many enemies / npcs on the screen impact frame rates and when a mage pawn adds all the glitter and ice storms and other particles it's still a mess.

But the new driver definitely did not make things worse at all here.

It had to recompile shaders for me again, which was painful. I'm in unmoored, so can't test Vermund city performance.

Did you bother reading the driver patch notes?

I tried too and no difference... which is a good thing, I guess. Hopefully Capcom still is working on performance updates, I'm having some odd GPU utilization spikes in shops and other menus.
Zero difference, is all on capcom to fix their ♥♥♥♥.

Why would it improve, the drivers had nothing to do with DD2 other than adding the "Optimal" settings thing in GEF which I have never once in my life used.

It doesn't even look advanced in any way, shape or form. GTA 5 from 2012 has better graphics than this game yet this game runs horribly. I'm always getting frame dips and it's so frustrating.

I haven't crashed a single time in 70 hours, neither have any of my friends. Sounds like you have bad RAM or a failing drive to me.

I didn't notice any improvements at all with my 3080 ti. But it also didn't get worse.

i didnt bother update was only tied to call of duty and some other game didnt say anything relating to dragons dogma 2

Actually worse. My 1080ti was getting 30fps in towns and now it's nosedived to low 20s, even dipping below at times. Rebooted and recompiled shaders, still same sh1tshow

Follow the troubleshooting guide from the developers. It's a mere compadibility issue, anti virus, security rights etc. While developers can work these kinks out it's not their responsibility.

Considering it’s been shown to be cpu limited not GPU I doubt this will help.
