Lost Melve the plague, am I okay?

I've been playing for quite awhile but have been avoiding the main quest and I just lost melve to the plague. Are there any main or important side quests connected to melve?

I got the spearhead vocation and the book for the magic meisters, anything else going on there I'm gonna miss?

Nothing in Melve is mandatory. Thankfully it's a smallish town you could feasibly resurrect. Or, find the Eternal Wakestone. Goodluck.

Make sure to check your pawn's eyes regularly. Don't hire pawns with full helmets, or if you do, dismiss them before sleeping in a town.

If you need an eternal wakestone, I can send ya one if you give me your pawn ID, I have a few after multiple new game plusses

And the guy that teaches you Mystic Spearhand is in Harve, not Melve.

I met him after fighting a drake that landed at melve after I got off the cart! Maybe it can happen in a few different spots? Cool to know

Good advice.
I was surprised ad how subtle the back talk from the pawns were! I thought they were gonna be obvious, like dunking on me and stuff.

Can I just say OP is a gamer. Didn't come running to cry about how horrible this game is and how the mechanic is the worst game design they've ever seen.

He is in both! First in Melve, if you progress the story more he has a house in Harve.
