Lost Arrow of Unmaking to Inn Save

Wonder if this has happened to anyone. Had an inn save prior to reporting the last riddle for the sphinx. Went to it and aggroed before using the Unmaking Arrow - got the eternal riftstone and decided to make the forgery as the Dragonplague had killed NPCs in Checkpoint Rest Town so I would have to use it in Vernworth and Bakkbattahl. Had read that even though it doesn't work for other items it does for the "eternal wokestone" forgery but it didn't and as I did not want to waste my 120k decided to load the last inn save again - now I don't have the Unmaking arrow and no way to get an Eternal Wakestone until NG. Anyone had this happen with them and is there a way to remedy this.

Oh, thanks! Thought it was only obtainable from the sphinx. Can finally do that now.

the sphinx and the dragonforged

Also worth noting you don't NEED the Unmaking Arrow to deal with the sphinx, though it does make it a bit easier.

If you haven’t already when the sphinx asks for your most prized item if you give them an unmaking arrow she duplicates it

Had used the duplicate for the jade. Thanks, though - it's something to consider next time. Was able to get the arrow from the Dragonforged but also just killed the Sphinx without it - was much easier with later gear.
