2. Compare IDs of what your friend is seeing at lvl 2 and your actual pawn. Messing with save files might've created a duplicate pawn, at least it does that now when "new game" button actually exists - unlike the 1st game where you always had one pawn and starting a new game and sleeping overwritten her, in DD2 it creates an entirely new instance for your pawn, so no knowledge transfer. When I started a new game, I could even find my old pawn myself.
If your pawn is modded it will remain locked at the last level it was legal.
Because this sounds like a softban to me.
For anyone using the mod Transmogify or possibly even without it. Maybe even Functional pawns. When going into New Game Plus. Even though I had slept with 4 spells / full augments in the game after NG+ started. My second steam acc found my pawn with only mage flagaration no augments updated. After 2 inn saves I decided to remove all augments and only put flagaration spell, sleep once then reaugment fully and put in all 4 spells.
My pawn was then showing correctly in the rift for my second steam acc.
May not be those mods related and just a NG+ issue that I found. Those were just possible interaction mods or recent mods that could cause the issue.
