yea i tried to find out how many you got for beating grigori or the game in general but the wiki is too new, i so just went along myself and woke up with 110 of them in unmoored world

What happens to your portcrystals?

I know they don't remain where you placed them in the world anymore, but do you at least get them back in your inventory?

You do, yes.

As far as Grigori goes, everyone should kill him first, then load from last save and speak with the watcher twice to redo Grigori and off yourself then.

You can fight the dragon and still talk to the ghost in the throne room. He will rewind time to the start of the fight where you have to do something specific to trigger the unmoored world
Just don't sit on the throne

I had about 350 at one point. I dunno what the limit is, every item technically has a stack cap. But realistically hitting it is another matter entirely
