Can Mods get you banned?
There is a mod on nexus mods that basically doubles your fps.
Can this get you banned?

banned from what exactly ?

This isnt a multiplayer game so no, mods wont get you banned.

No, it's a single player game in full. there is nothing to ban you from. Your pawn can be blacklisted from the rift if it has modded stats, of course, but you your self can't be locked out of a single player game.

as long you do not edit your main pawn you are good, mods that only works for your own game is fine.. IF your main pawn is edited/cheated it might be shadow banned and no one can hire it

Editing item stats also blocks your pawn from showing, even if it doesn't wear those. One example is the mod that modifies beetles to give more carry weight. Even if you don't use them for your pawn it will still be blocked

For this to be true they would have to purge more than half the main pawns ... seriously modding is a non issue.

It won't get you banned as mods are in your local and don't have any affect on other players.

You can however get your pawn banned from being summoned by other Arisen but only when you do things that shouldn't be possible normally such as abnormal stats (9999 Health, Stamina and Attack) or wearing/using gear and skills from other vocations but it's easy to unban them by changing them back.

Yeah this is a general rule when it comes to using mods. NEVER use any that modify stats outside of legit numbers. cosmetic mods are your best bet, but stay away from file altering mods because your pawn will suffer for it. and there goes your hires.

because that golden beetles increase BOTH your arisen and pawn carry weight at once.. the "explanation" ingame is wrong/mistranslated

You can use any mod you like. Whatever makes the experience better for you.

Who the hell needs brain dead pawns when your main and yourself are gods ?

I hate having the two extra piles of dead weight that constantly fall off cliffs or get themselves killed ...better off not having them.

Now if the AI was better and actually useful instead of brain dead then yes I would agree with your opinion.

Oh, that makes sense. I was wondering how to use for your pawn since the "use" is greyed out, but tutorial still says you can use them for your pawns. Just doesn't tell how to actually use

We have very different experiences then, they are very helpful and the game is not easy at the beginning. Unless ofc you were playing as a warrior or thief. There are only few spots in the map where they jump off the ledge or take a swim.
