These stealth missions are an issue...
I genuinely have no clue how the game expects me to solve these.
I get into the castle and the game quite literally spawns in dozens of NPC from every possible door, some just wander about, some instantly attack me.
Sometimes, i even get attacked from off-screen, because the game decided to spawn someone in behind me.

I'm now stuck with an early stealth quest because i wasn't lucky enough to not have the game box me in.

I would bearly call them "stealth" but the solution is the find and wear the guards armor and you can walk around freely with no issue.

I just put on some noble clothing and walk about. Never been attacked.

Wait, that actually works?
I found a set but stowed it away due to its stats. I didn't think the game would actually take your gear and how you look into consideration.
That might actually have helped, i'll try that out next session, thanks!

Yeah you need the Courtly Top and Bottoms. Also there's a mission you can use the marcher armour is it? you can get the sets in the castle or find them around. One makes you look like noble and one a soldier. Also a thief has a stealth hide ability if you have used the vocation.

No spoiler, but there's at least one more occasion where you'll have to "dress for success".
Hold on to a set of noble clothes in your chest maybe.

"Spoilers" like this are always welcome :D
Genuinely didn't think the game would check your clothes like that.
Again, thank you very much everyone ^^

Certain "Stealth" vocation skill seem to bypass alot of detection as well.

Honestly, I did one of these quests dressed normally, no Marchers and no Nobles, and a couple of times, I thought the guards would spot me but literally walked right past while staring directly at me, MAYBE cuz I was a thief? But I doubt it, stealth isn't this games strong suit. At least for me.

GrynMan it depends on the quest and where you are in the story. Eventually you get to a point I think NPC's honestly don't care anymore, probably after the coronation.

I have legit spoken to Disa in her own room in my normal gear and she was happy to have a conversation. In the post game no one cares anymore for sure, they don't even spot you from walking in the main door anymore.

Is that why I've never been attacked!?!? I always wore them for role playing reasons when I visit so I thought they were bugged or you had to literally get in their face. So many times I accidentally ran in front of some and nothing happened.

That's actually pretty great :D

yeah I used the guard armor to go into the dungeon, when i didnt have it on I was attacked.

Stealth missions and snobby guards are why I stopped caring if they catch me i just go shadow UI and slaughter them all. I especially stopped caring when this one lady guard just stood outside house i worked my ass off the buy and they acted all snobby lol.

I just got to the capital browsing shops I read the description for the courtly gear and was like Oh that's neat, I'll have to remember to come back and buy these. Already knew what they were for as I've seen the mechanic in other games. Pay attention, it will pay you back.

Noble clothes is a free walk in the Castle, same for the Jail if you go there with the Soldier armor imitation.
