Sphinx - Riddle of recollection is bugged for me

So sphinx asks how many riddles I solved so far, I answer correctly and it doesn't accept my answer.
I missed one riddle in first shrine, meaning I solved 4. You get a freebie once you reach the new shrine that's 5. I've done the 3 riddles after that, the duel one, the twin one and the pot one, that's 8. So no matter how many times I placed the statues(that's the most tedious quest I've done in any game) on the altar she doesn't accept the answer.
So either one of the riddles don't count(reunion maybe?) or the game is bugged.
I can also confirm that I've solved 8 riddles by looking at the opened chests. I have 4 open in the 2nd shrine. I missed one in the 1st shrine so 4+4=8.

Check your Quest Log, then simply count how many "Completed Riddle of XX" you have under the Details for the quest :)

There are five riddles in the first shrine, and one for getting to the new shrine. Then add however many you have completed in new shrine before you get recollection. So if you get recollection first, it's six, if you get one before recollection, seven, and so on.

Maybe you just place the statues at wrong place or they fell too far away, I had 7 to place as my 8th quest and it worked fine, but it wasn't easy to place them all at the rised spot where I stand to talk with sphinx, they keept falling down and I corrected them like 4 times before they were stable on top, unsure if that was necessary, but maybe it was.

I figured out the problem.
It also counts the one I missed in the first shrine. So when she asks how many riddles have you completed, she also counts the ones you've failed. Just a heads up. I completed 8, missed 1 and this was the 10th question, so the answer was 9.

Also she leaves after the 10th question. I attacked her, we had a fight and when she had one health bar left and she left anyways, I guess it's a scripted encounter where you have to do something specific to take her down.
Pretty disappointing.

You can do calculations if it's your thing OR you can look at Sphinx's wings to get the right answer straight away

Unmaking Arrow in the back leg or body will kill her, but DO NOT shoot it into her face or it won't count and she will stiil fly away, do it right then get the key..
