Not sure where to go now

I have uncovered the whole map. I cant open the chests at the frontier shrine. I have no idea where the sphinx is... Hugo quest is bugged. Luz tells me there is some kind of secret in battahl but I have no idea what to do to uncover it and she won't let me pay her 50g for information. I know by looking at the artwork on steam that there is a sphinx which I haven't discovered yet. Jimminey where do I begin?

My hugo quest was bugged too on my first play through. I had to break him out and carry him to town and then it worked. Plenty of guides on the Sphinx if your interested in tackling that awesome questline. The riddles themselves are pretty easy buut if you want to save time a guide is definitely in order. But hey if anything gets messed up there is always NG+. I messed up my first run pretty badly.

thanks i'll give that a try with hugo. i think i'll just level up my vocations now so I can figure out how I wanna build my wayfarer. I don't wanna spoil much because this game is freaking awesome.

Oh yea I'm in love with it still i'm sure ill break 100 hours easy. But that's what i'm currently working on is the vocations. My Pawn only has the thief left to master and i need sorcerer and magic archer. So been hunting down all the drakes and repeating to get the WLC for the gear you get from the dragonforge.

oh man the magic archer is OP lol I had fun with it. The drakes seems few and far between I hope to run into more on my journey.

Yea the magic archer is a blast so far, I barely unlocked the enhance ricochet and dam it melts every enemy. I agree too as far as the drakes. I have been starting at the top of the map and working my way all the way to the excavation site killing all the large bosses where they spawn. Camping and resting along the way to reset spawns by the time I reach the top again.

If you're looking for sphinx, they're at the north on mountain shrine. Could go through ancient battleground or through misty marshes
