Sphinx riddle issue (Spoilers)
When I found the Sphinx I was like 20 hours into the game and had like 50 seeker tokens, no way I could have remembered the first one, so I didn't even try, I failed that one. I just thought it wasn't a big deal, cause even though I want the achievement, I could still get it in NG+ right? Well apparently not, someone told me the seeker tokens don't reset. So now I'm wondering, when I get to the Sphinx again, do I tell her were I found the first token on my NG+ run or am I completely F'd forever?

The Seeker coin riddle is the first coin you found in your current save, so in your new game +, mark the first coin you found in that walkthrough.. thats what I did, when I forgot my first token in the first walkthrough, the seeker coins dont reset in all of the succeeding saves, so you need to find a new one that you haven't seen before in your first save.. I would suggest using the detection augment under trickster, finding tokens and shards will be a breeze..

You need to find the first ever seeker token. I found her in NG+ and the seeker token she made me go find was the first one I ever collected in my first playthrough. BTW there is a mod on nexus that puts a map marker for you if you really cannot find it.

I was in the same boat, so I am just gonna give you the tool that saved me.

Alternatively you can ask for a forgery of the Finders Token from another player

Mods it is then, I didn't think I would need any for this game, but I do. Thanks.

it's easy to find. There is like 5 in the beginer area.

First one, just outside of camp, left side you have to do a little cliff jump.

Second one, if you are heading up to the bonfire, on your left side a cliff with a couple of goblins will hang out in their camp. There is a couple of harpy nests up there that a seeker token spawns inside.

third one, by the bonfire, underneath the bridge.

4th one, just before you go down one of the ramps to camp.

That is if you didn't jump on all the houses inside the camp and randomly found the one on top of the building where the Alchemist is at...

That's five easy to find ones.

Is there a time limit for this or would one be able to just search several of the locations near the start to try to find it?
Mannotaur 31 MAR 2024 a las 4:42 p. m.
The pinned answer is incorrect. NG+ Sphinx riddle has you find the first seekers token you find in NG+.

She says she gives you 7 days.

Can also confirm: I found the Sphinx in NG+ and indeed, the first Seeker Token I found in NG+ was the one!
Still quite a ridiculous quest...

Thank you for the correction, I'm just gonna go make sure and verify it works for me before marking a correct answer.

For a lot of people it might be the case it's one of those yeah. In my case I never found like 3 out of the 5 up there and neither of the two I found were my first. Turned out my first was ontop of the rock by the tower (with the harpies circling around at the top) north-west of Vernworth.

Riddle of Rumination is just sadistic quest design, one of the many in the game where the game tells you fudge-all, doesn't give a marker, or 'area of interest'.

There was a guy on this forum who said his first token was, if you believe it, in the Unmoored World.

I was wondering if that were the case. Good to know.
