Yeah, I know I as the arisen can use them but I enjoy playing as the Warrior class and wanted to leave the spellcasting or magic oriented stuff to my Main Pawn in some fashion and didn't want to change away from Archer. I really wish they wouldn't bar us from these kinds of things. There is very little individually among pawns. Even less so now that they streamlined the leveling process. I thought they would build off of the systems that Dark Arisen left us with but it seems like they just did a copy paste with some things shifted around.
It would be nice if there was some system withing the AI where you could actually train them to use the Tomes (or any battle item that isn't just healing). Thats what I thought they were boasting about the Pawn AI for. But using Tomes seems to be too much for them.
He wants it for his pawn, so he can't, cuz only arisen can do it.
It feels like the game is fighting me every step of the way.
Got a pawn. Wants her to be Mystic Archer. No. Not available for pawns.
Alright np, want to give her element imbued bow. No. No magic bows in the game.
Not a problem. Will just go to Elvin village and imbue a good Bow with an element. No. It doesn't work that way. Though a magic stat may rise, its utterly useless without an element to go with it.
O-ok cool. I'll just use Tomes to make up for no magic ability. No, Pawns wont use Tomes. They will instead combine materials for weaker healing items instead of using them for better combinations.
Uh...surely the Woodland Specification adds some kind of magical abilities???? No. Speak with elves to read menus you can already kind of decipher on your own.
Well ♥♥♥♥.
