if you kidnap some rando npc they will help you fight enemies once put down but they will walk away after and not follow you, only "escort" npc will follow you
Cool beans - do you know if there is any specific trigger to make them happen? If you have multiple houses will they go to both?
But in this game, escorts are harder to keep around. When I run for more than 5 seconds, they just stop after getting a certain distance behind. They'll also run off the road to fight some random enemy, seemingly far more than the pawns will. I lose those escorted NPCs constantly if I'm playing normally. I have to play a lot slower when finishing the escort missions.
Who was the fighter from 1? I was thinking Maul but he was scather from memory??
Yeah I did notice the agro thing / stopping - I'm not so bothered by the guys / gals that have some combat capability but gawdamn I remember one cat who wanted to go to checkpoint town and istg she had a fetish for ogre feet the way she constantly stood under them
Ah rats so cutscenes / other dialogue must kill it smh. If its any consolation i think he either gave flowers or a ferrystone though I can't remember 100%
I don't remember at this point. It was from a task board. I had to take him to a large gate a ways West of the starting point. I actually never made it through that large gate so not even sure what it was too lol. I took him there and then went back to clearing everything East of it again.
I got the first game on the sale they had going a few weeks before this one came out. I'll probably go back to it after I finish this one.
He gave me ferrystone on doors before that, so probably will give flowers like his daddy
They really need to flesh out the non ulrika - non rose lady romances because my horror/amusement at accidentally maxing the elf dad as well as the sister and brother I feel could be greatly enhanced (I know BG3 core jealousy is too much to ask but I still reckon it could be funny)
Not wrong, I guess I just wouldn't mind a little more personal investment / stake in characters. The way the two girls were forced on my arisen just felt really shallow and icky for me lol that being said I guess it was a fun parallel to my first time through the DDDA where I was jumpscared the uh post dragon scene with Fournival as my beloved lol.
That was so scary man, first thing I wanted to know about DD2 was if I will have to dodge talking to traders :D
That being said the forger is such a jolly little tacker I might make a pass for him...
