You can get trapped inside this cave/dungeon. There are boulders you can slightly move but they can get stuck/bugged and you cannot move them again, leaving you stuck in a corridor with no way out. You cannot use ferrystones to port out of it. Pawns can glitch to the other side of the rock, but cannot/will not move it to get to you. There is no way to destroy the boulder.

Now the only option is to revert to an inn save which is god knows how many hours wasted. I'd rather revert to the uninstall option.

Making Ferrystones not work in interiors was a terrible idea by Capcom, given they're the player's main way of un-softlocking the game.

isn't this the cave that drops 3 big bolders? First one after you loot a dark chest..? i could hit every single one of those into dust. Didn't even try to move them because i knew it was one of those destructible rocks.

you can destroy all moveable boulders. might need a couple more attacks but I also got rid of them

I'm an archer, I've been using dire arrow and shooting them over and over but no luck.

I believe you and that it may just be bugged out. But i destroy those all the time as archer with just simple auto attacks too. Try to press the right joystick?

I promise you, I've been trying everything for the last 30-45 minutes lol. Regular attacks, dire attacks, rapid attacks, RB attacks, parkour moves, jump/slide to try and get under/over it, getting pawns under me to try and give me some lift. Nothing is working.

I'll give this a try after work tonight, thank you!! I feel for the console players who don't have modding capability! There are some truly terrible game design choices which make loving this game hard to do at times.

you don't have to use any special arrows, just use regular attack. it works

I came here too because I am stuck. Bolder is in the way, it won't budge. Sometimes Pawns try to help but it still won't move. Can't destroy bolder either. Can't teleport out. This is maddening.

I found a solution on another post that worked for me. Leave the game for about an hour so a day passes in game time, wedge yourself between the rock facing the zombie room and the wall. Save and go to title screen and reload the game and the rock blocking the room was gone

I was able to break the boulders just fine with daggers. Maybe you just need more damage to break them? Also if you have the Dowsing Rod daggers and are confused by the green pings near the top of the spiral staircase, there's a 2nd cave to the N/NW called Dimdark Cave that has 2 more chests.

I have tried to break it for over an hour. I tried using all the fighter attacks, but nothing seems to work. It won't even let me use grap/push against the rock now, so the pawns can't even try to help me push it.

for some reason when the rock gets stuck on the door it becomes indestructible. the only way i was able to get out of the cave was to stay in the cave for a whole in-game day and save to title. reloading reset the rock away from the door. that worked for me on the PS5
