Eternal Wakestone
I just read the stone Isn't eternal and is single use? What a waste of time, if you're not hunting for the achievement don't bother past the portcrystal reward. At least in the first game the Eternal Ferrystone was indeed, eternal.

the thing is if it was eternal you could infinite raise as many npcs in the game forever. Did you see the range of it? It can literally raise a whole city, making dragonplague not even an issue to begin with.
Also it can't raise you or your pawns. It's essentially useless unless you dragonplague your city every day or something.

Sure, but it shouldn't be called eternal if it's not eternal.

Well that was I thought kind of the point. A great reward for doing this long drawn out vague quest spanning the game world. It's not like it's giving you infinite rezzes in combat, it would be for raising dead npcs should they meet an unfortunate end. I feel the ends do not justify the means in this case. They should rename the item the "not so eternal, eternal wakestone."

Honestly from the story to treasure chests to the damned quests, everything in this game is underwhelming in the end save the combat, and even that gets way too easy.

The name 'Eternal Wakestone' does seem misleading for a one-time use item. :PinkContent:

its because eternal life, eternal death, not eternal use. What else would you call it?

"The Ultra-Boom one use life nuke" who cares what we could call it, it's a misleading and underwhelming reward for a tedious quest and fight (using an unmaking arrow or nitpicking around the sphinx's head so she doesn't fly off.) Anyway I'm done ranting about this pos item, guess I'll just save it for if I get hit with the dragonsplague.

The Sphinx doesn't even know what a Riddle really is.
Do you really expect it to know the correct definition of 'Eternal?'

Mostly seems like a bad translation from japanese but at the end the only use of that item is to recover your game from a Dragonsplage strike on any of your cities, so it's a 1 time ticket to avoid Dragonsplague per run.

It wasn't; the name in JP【永遠の目覚めの石】is basically Eternal Wakestone in English.

Vague wording of items in this game is a complete cancer
