Trysha dies: not in morgue or body no longer there
Hi everyone,

I was attempting to do the spellbound quest and it was already confusing to begin with. I managed to give her all books and started the quest. Trysha went rogue and I didn't know I could tackle her (or can you even do that in other vocations than Theft?) but killed her. Then, I didn't have a wakestone on me and didn't even think to revive her at first. I went to proceed and speak with the grandma and escorted her. Then I realised I did it wrong. I grabbed my wakestone and went back, her body is no longer there. Had a look at the morgue, she isn't there.

So, is it like a bug of just the devs being stupid that if you miss you miss it? I think the function of morgue is to let players to do it again if they miss because this game has no reload saves (just a single save point pretty much). And Trysha is not there, so my mage pawn is without the ultimate skill now going forward. That sucks.

If everyone knows what's happening, let me know. Thanks

In this case she probably doesn't show in the morgue because you failed the quest, and the quest specifically updates saying as much. You wouldn't be able to undo the mistake even if you could Wakestone her due to game logic.

You could reload an inn save before you killed her but I'm assuming you've already saved over it.

I killed her and wakestoned her and the quest proceeds just fine, got all the rewards

Pretty sure it's too late if the quest is marked completed. This game gives zero craps if you screwed up killing an NPC or not like a Souls game. I mean I didn't make your mistake and shes alive and well and I completed her and her fathers quest today but yeah, I can see your natural instinct to murder the adorable little white girl.
