SPOILERS regarding Sphinx Quest line (DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS)

So the Sphinx is a straight up liar and cheater lol. I have gotten to the 2nd phase of her riddles and I was on the counting one where she asks to remember the number of riddles you have SOLVED.

So I failed one riddle out of the 1st five (so 4 total) , I got the the riddle for finding her 2nd area (1), and I did the riddle where you have to fight the guy with the ring (1). So that is SIX total riddles solved successfully, I put 6 statues in front of her (tired both on the platform and on the left front beside the platform), and 2 times she tells me I wrong.

Like I know how to count so either this thing is a liar or it does not know simple mathematics lol.

Is there a trick to this riddle, like to I have to put the statues in a specific place for them to be registered? Or did the one riddle I failed bug out and its actually counting 7 instead of 6?

Should be better phrased as how many riddles have we done. but it's a sphinx it's meant to trick you. The correct answer is 7 even if you failed the 1

If you listen very carefully after phase 1 she says something like "you solved all riddles", even if you failed one ore more. So that's kind of a clue for this riddle too. :D

"Now, questions beget questions, and I have one for you. How many riddles have you solved thus far? My memory fails me, you see. Remind me, and make it plain. Let yonder statues be your means. For every question aptly answered, bring one here before me.”

The key part is "For every question aptly answered" doesn't have to mean correct just that you did it.

Ehh I call bull crap. Either way I'm going to have fun beating this thing to a pulp once I;m done with the riddles lol

Oh I'm loving the game, 80+hr in and still have crazy things happen.

Literally just had a Drake fly away from a fight only for it to collide with a griffin mid flight lol. Lucky for the dragon, but the griffin was not too lucky, as it fell to the ground from who knows how high and then continues to get pummeled to death lol.
