I only hire 180cm pawns so the high five animation doesnt get funny when height difference.

I hire based on level and vocation so it benefits my party, it always helps to have diversity. I don't really care much for the Pawn quests, but if they have one I'll help them

Also prefer giant beefy men, need my male harem heheheh but I'll settle for Amazon warrior mommy if I need her

I have a kink for really ugly characters so this game gives me options ...
lol yes me 2. sometimes on the road I meet some incredibly weird creatures. one was what I could only describe as waluigi on crack haha

Which is fun because you can straight up fight them if you attack them.

The ones with the least amount of likes or hearts

I typically consider if there are any gaps in my party and hire appropriately.
I look for a good pawn quest first, skills don't really matter to me since you can mow down everything in your path regardless of what you choose.

But I recently learned of the Riftstone of Potential, so I may venture there and hire any high level pawns that are geared out but still sadly have yet to be hired.

Any pawn where i can see that the player behind it actually was investing a minute to think about their pawns skillset instead of blindly equipping anything

Whatever I need at the time. Looks be damned.

I go straight to pawn details. That's where you find how useful they are, not looks. Since I never hire a pawn above my level I have to be selective.

I'm an archer with a mage pawn, so one is almost always a thief, the other is sorc/fighter/warrior. Usually they are hot female humans but exceptions are made from time to time, especially when getting a higher level one for free and someone in my party has been outleveled.

No fatties though.

Pretty ones.

I go in this order:

Only female humans, no exceptions.

Of the I pick the better looking one, often with the least clothing while not having ♥♥♥♥ stats

After this, pawns with 10k quests against a matching enemy (2 ogres, 2 minotaurs, etc)

After this I look at classes & skills, I often want an additional thief capable of actually stealing stuff, or a tank capable of taunting, my favorite inclination is often Simple so I won't have to loot as much

If I can't find any matching my desired criteria I'll lower the search level range, don't mind a low level pawn as long as they are useful and don't look like crap.

i hire what i need, look doesnt matter, mage and thief/fighter/sorc
Pengchon 30 MAR 2024 a las 9:58 a. m.
I hire 3 mages, OP team ever
No' Name 30 MAR 2024 a las 10:00 a. m.
I hire pawns that can actually do stuff, mainly damage wise.

For example, if I'm hiring a healer, I tend to avoid people who make their pawns nothing but "Support" roles, as the Mage already has a natural heal ability, so I find it completely useless for Mages to have cure, or a defense buff. If your mage doesn't have Clerity, and doesn't have 2 DPS moves, not getting hired, and they're useless trash.

Also if your pawns have absolutely no Augments on them at all, which I see a lot of, even in the level 30's+ (which is beyond stupid), not getting hired.

Basically, just make a DPS pawn, and they're useful. The rest I got covered.
