Transmog System
Dragon's Dogma 2 desperately needs a transmog system. I don't want to be forced to pick a crappy-looking piece of gear simply because its stats are better. I want both my character and my pawn to look how I want them to look. It just makes sense! I really hope the devs add this system in a future update!

There should at least be an option to hide head gear.
I mean they made this complex character creator where one can build the ugliest heads, and then they are hidden by headgear.

Yeah transmog and clothing recolour are very much needed since having a unique pawn appearance is very much a core component to the game and these things are much needed to help differentiate your pawn from the rabble

Are people seriously thinking pawns get hired because of looks ? I don't care how you look, I care about having decent builds on pawns, and that includes items. Having to look at the inventory instead of just looking at the pawn to know what stuff they have in going to be a hassle.

I hire pawns based on looks, don't feel the need to minmax stats or perfect skill combos, having decent party comp is enough for basically everything so far.

I mean, yeah. But, there’s nothing wrong with having a good build and being able to look the way you want to look.

Most of the armors look really bad. They really should've let you dye some armors.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen had more options than this game when it came to armors and less class restricted armor.

My biggest problem with the gear is that there is so few choices to begin with. It is logical to a certain extent because there are so many classes that restricting gear to certain classes means each class has fewer choices. But yeah, it makes it hard to dress your pawn, and your char the way you want them to look. And whats with the scars? Is it some sort of mandatory thing that my pawn must get a nasty looking scar on her breasts?

Actually, I sometimes ignore certain pawns that look god awful even if their stats and skills equipped are good. Also I tend to go for ones that offer lot of gold in pawn quests lol. Definitely need a transmog system. There some epic looking gear with abysmal stats sadly.

They should just mimic the Layered Armor/Weapon system in Monster Hunter World. I think everyone was happy with that system.

Anyway, the survey window for DD2 is still active. If you've got suggestions, put it in the survey.

Most of the armor looks really bad. For my female mage pawn I just have two options: looking like a brothel worker or looking like a walking pile of rugs. I mean I spend hours creating my chars only to hide every body contur and facial detail in some ugly cloth ...
I would like to see a system where you could unlock/remove the class restrictions of armor pieces via smithing. Make it expensive or make the armor heavy in the process, I don't care.

If you reaached the Volcanic Island, you can take a bath there and the scars on your main pawn will vanish. Apparantely there is a chance when your main pawn dies (like when you have to revive him at a stone thingy not knocked out) it can get random scars. Or you go to the nexus forums because there is a mod which removes them forever

i always felt ambivalent about hiding helmets. on the one hand, you do want to see faces, and some helmets do look butt-ugly and/or dumb, but on the other hand, it's a bit like "cheating", in having your cake and eating it. ugliness can be considered to be the price of effectiveness.
but maybe there could be an option to only don helmets in combat mode (or when the weapon is unsheathed).

Yet again, the modders community has them all ;-)
